Research Focus
The overall objective of my research program is to utilize information generated by biological,
physiological, and biochemical studies of crops and weeds to improve weed management strategies
for horticultural crops.
Courses TaughtCurrent weed management emphases are:
• nutsedge (Cyperus spp.) control in polyethylene-mulched vegetables
• weed management for sustainable and organic vegetable production systems
